How to maintain a healthy weight.

A. A risk factor is a condition that increases your chances of developing a problem.

B.Having too much extra body fat increases the workload on your heart,lungs, and body frame.

C. Fragile bones, weak immune system, anemia, and hair loss is a effect of being underweight.

D. Suggestions for losing weight is to have energy balance, exercise, and eat healthy.

Suggestions for being physically active every day.

A. Active living helps you control your weight and strengthen your heart and lungs.

B.The amount of physical activity a teen should get is 60 minutes a day.

C. To get physical activity you can bring items with you for working out so it reminds you and helps you.. You could also have someone go with you for motivation and so you don't feel alone.

Importance of whole grains, fruits,vegetables, and milk.

A. They're healthy because they give you grains for protein and they're a better choice than junk food.

B.Health benefits from these foods is you get dairy for your teeth and skin. The others give you nutrients and the things you need.

C.You can put them with your other food and try to get them in your diet with milk for cereal or drinking or even cheese. Fruit could be a better snack chocice for you.

How to limit fats and cholesterol.

A.Two unhealthy fats that limit cholesterol is saturated and trans fat.

B.Diseases that can develop from a high fat diet is you can get high blood pressure,heart disease, and diabetes.

C. To intake moderate total fat intake you can reduce your saturated fats and cholesterol when eating.

Be choosy about carbohydrates.

A. Foods with natural sugar would be apples and other fruits.

B. Foods with added sugar would be junk food like soda, candy, and other sweets.

C. We should limit your sugar intake because it's not good for you and it can lead to diabetes and a lot of other diseases.

Why reduce sodium and increase potassium?

A. Sodium benefits the body because it it helps control the bodies fluids,

B.Disease that are linked to excess sodium is high blood pressure, heart attack, or even a stroke.

C.The function of potassium is it helps counteract sodium's effects on blood pressure.

Avoid alcohol.

A, Reasons for teens to avoid alcohol. One would be because you can become addicted to it and you'll have trouble quitting. Secondly, the effects alcohol gives are bad because you could get liver cancer from it and die. For teens it would be bad because you wouldn't be focused on your goals and school work and might not pass to go on with your life.
