Cunningham Connection
Week of March 23rd
Dear Cunningham Families,
Please share this week's video message with students. For this week, I asked students to share their new favorite place to work at home. They are encouraged to write and share with their teachers why it is their favorite place. You can share a picture of students working from their favorite place and upload to this link. We will keep building that folder with the weekly themes. I also embedded the video at the end of the Newsletter.
A new website was created that we believe is more user friendly. More information about that is below. As promised, a link to the website will always be available from the Cunningham homepage. www.miltonps.org/cunningham. Ms. Morton will continue to update the Cunningham School's website which now includes a Youtube Channel with Cunningham staff read alouds.
Please continue to read for more information.
All the Best,
Jon Redden

Interface Referral Service:
Milton is fortunate to have partnered with the William James INTERFACE Referral Service. If you need support at this time, please take advantage of this resource.
The William James INTERFACE Referral Service is a mental health and wellness referral Helpline available Monday through Friday, 9 am-5 pm, at 888-244-6843 (toll-free). This is a free, confidential referral service for individuals across the lifespan living in Milton. Callers are matched with licensed mental health providers from our extensive database, on average, within 2 weeks of their call to INTERFACE. Each referral best meets the location, insurance, and specialty needs of the caller.
Special Education
We would like to thank all the parents who have been reaching out to show their appreciation for the work staff have been rushing to put together for our children with special needs. We appreciate your support and patience and recognize that how we support students with special needs will evolve and change as we respond to the changing conditions in our community and world.
The Office of Pupil Personnel Services has been working in partnership with district leadership and The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to establish engaging and structured activities for our students in special education during this unprecedented school closure. We will continue to provide updates to families as we work with DESE on special education topics.
