πππHappy Fall! πππ
The year has started of great and Fall is officially here - the mornings are getting colder and we would appreciate your help in reminding students to dress a little warmer and bring jackets for recess.
Every year, we review our Schoolwide TITLE 1 Plan and set goals for the upcoming year. We invite all parents and guardians to the PAC (Parent Advisory Committee) meeting this month so you can be a part of this process. As valuable partners in your child's education, we encourage you to attend the meeting and provide your input our our plan. Along with our regular agenda, we will be reviewing our assessment data, going over our proposed School Improvement Plan/Goals, the Parent and Family Engagement Policy, and the Parent/School Compact.
Parent Teacher Conferences π
We will be having Parent/Teacher conferences this month - it is a great opportunity to meet with the teacher early in the year and see how your student is doing. We look forward to meeting with each of you! Teachers will be contacting you to set up a conference during the week of October 24th - 28th.
βββDaily Schedule Reminder βββ
All of our classrooms have been working hard to establish daily routines for learning. With these routines, teachers use every minute of the day to provided valuable instruction for the students. I want to remind parents of our Daily Schedule
7:55 First Bell
8:00 Tardy Bell
8:30 AM Half-Day Time (Students arriving after 8:30 are absent for the morning)
2:00 PM Half-Day Time (students leaving before 2:00 are absent for the afternoon)
3:00 Dismissal Bell
Attendance Matters
Regular attendance in elementary school is a strong predictor of grade-level performance. Attending school regularly helps students feel better about schoolβand themselves. Start building this habit early so they learn that going to school on time, and every day, is important.
