Next Phase of Students Returning to In Person
Our next group of students will be returning to school on Monday, September 28. The next group of students consists of students in grades 2-5 that have been identified as "academically at-risk." Please see the parent communication flyer for important safety procedures.
Teachers have made personal phone calls and met with all parents of students that will be returning to IN PERSON Learning on September 28. If you did not get a personal phone call from your child's teacher or met with them then you child is remaining Virtual at this time.
We anticipate all other students who selected IN PERSON learning on the parent survey from AUGUST will be returning on Monday, October 5. Again, teachers will make personal phone calls to students who will be returning.
Parents May Change Selection of Instructional Program for the 2nd Nine Weeks
Beginning Wed., Sept. 23, families who would like to change their selection of instructional learning model (in-person or virtual learning) for the second grading cycle (Oct. 19-Dec. 18) may do so by completing an online questionnaire.
Click here to fill out the questionnaire.
Families will have until Sept. 30 to submit their change. Only families wishing to change their current learning model selection need to complete the online questionnaire. Families are reminded that a selection of virtual learning for the second grading period means a commitment to remain in that learning model for the complete grading period.
The District has been working slowly and methodically to bring students back into classrooms since Sept. 8. Using a tiered approach, students who selected the in-person learning model in early August are returning to schools and, while not all students have returned, planning is beginning for the second grading period.
For more information regarding the instructional learning options and commitments for both, please visit our Back to School webpage.(link is external)
