Our School Vision

Vision: North Metro Academy of Performing Arts will be the best charter school in the state of Georgia where students acquire the 21st century knowledge and skills ignited by the arts to be successful in high school and college.

Mission: NMAPA engages students in instruction that integrates academics and performing arts in ways that address the unique needs and interests of each student, while intentionally developing confidence, imagination and collaboration.

New Website Launch

Our new and improved website has launched at Please visit the site as your one stop shop for all information regarding our school. You can find the school calendar, staff directory, OZ rehearsal information, and more.

United Way Campaign

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in our pajama day. We have currently raised over $300.00 towards our $500.00 goal for United Way. On Friday, November 10th is Hat Day and November 17th is Jean Day, all for a $1.00 donation.

Parade of Books

Thank you to all of the Faculty, Staff, Parents, and scholars that made this year's Parade of Books such a success. It was an amazing experience to see so many students celebrating literacy. Thank you parents for your support as well.

PTO Skate Party

Principal For the Day

We are excited to have Craig Newton join us at North Metro Academy of Performing Arts on November 16th for our Principal For The Day program. Longtime Norcross City Councilman Craig L. Newton will be the city’s new mayor and make city and county history in the process. Newton was Norcross’ first African-American councilman. Gwinnett political observers and officials with the Gwinnett Historical Society couldn’t recall any city in the county ever having an African-American mayor before.
