We will continue to learn about coins and their value. We will understand how to add the coins together. Learners will continue to count them by 2’s, 5’s, and 10’s. We will also work on solving word problems using coins.

Snacks For the Week
Red Group - Carlos
Thank you for taking the time to make sure our little darlings have snacks! It really helps us get through the last part of our day!
After giving the last spelling test I think most of our learners are ready to move on from the basic three letter CVC words. So we are kicking it up a notch this week with our word families. Additionally, I will always have five commonly used words on the list. The word because was widely missed last week so it made an appearance again this week. :)
The poems I add to the spelling lists are quite cheesy, I know. :) ha! I am just trying to give them a chance to read words in context and maybe pick up a few new vocabulary words along the way.
*Study for your spelling test
*Reading material will be sent home this week.
*Math homework packets will be sent home this week. Those are to be turned in on Friday.
Please email if you have any questions. :)
