Calling All Parents - Share Your Expertise on Explore More Day!

Explore More Day is a wonderful Madison tradition that allows students to immerse themselves in new types of learning and exploration. Madison PTA is seeking courses to offer for 2nd-5th grade - these are enrichment type classes that will broaden their horizons and have access to learning experiences that they might not have had, otherwise.

Taking place this year on Friday, May 27, we are looking for YOUR IDEAS for these "courses." It could be expertise, something you do for work (or through your employer), or fun content that you know would be great to share with students. The ask is to help with a mini-course to share with students on Explore More Day.

If you have any ideas, or would like to raise your hand - please contact Explore More Day Chair, Denise Krohn. Thank you for helping to contribute to the spirit of the day!

Three Easy Ways to Support Madison PTA & Classrooms

Did you know that one of the ways Madison PTA supports the school is by providing resources directly to the teachers and classrooms? We have a "Wishlist" program that allows teachers to request materials and resources that will benefit students, and PTA grants wishes throughout the year.

In addition to wishlists, here are easy ways you can benefit the classroom through your own purchases at home:

  • SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUBS - Each Madison class has a code that allows the classroom to benefit with free books, based on what you order. Check with your child's class for the code. you can place a book order online, anytime. Digital flyers are HERE.
  • BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION - Scan your grocery receipt in the Box Tops app, and Madison will earn 10 cents from every qualifying item. Download the app.
  • AMAZON SMILE - Join AmazonSmile and select Madison, so when you shop Amazon - on the website or through the app - the PTA will get 0.5% of your eligible purchases. Learn more on the PTA website.
