NWEA
By: Hannah and Remley
NWEA helps us find our levels in learning. It helps teachers to
know what to teach us next. We take NWEA 3 times at TCE. TCE uses it to track our learning.
Parents, we take it at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of the school year.
We have finished our starting NWEA and you should have received
your child’s score. Wish your child/children good luck on their next NWEA test. We know they will do their best!

Lunch and Recess
By: Georgia and Harper
We are writing about early release. It is where get a chance to go outside and get more recess. This year if we are done eating our lunch we can go outside with a different teacher to get a few more minutes of recess. Sometime after we eat the cafeteria would get really loud. This is because when we are finished eating kids want to talk and have fun. Now, instead we get to go outside. I know what you are thinking, what if we don't have time to eat, well don't worry if we aren't finished eating the kids stay because they want to finish their lunch. Once they have finished their lunch they meet us outside. We have loved having early release to recess.

Information from our Thorpe creek PTO
The Fall Festival was GREAT!
By: Dhanya Venugopal
TCE Cardinals,
There was a fall festival coming up in Thorpe Creek!
This year is was on Friday September 16th. It was super fun. If you didn't make it to the festival, you should try and create one at home! You can make a banner and have some fun games! You have to be creative. It’s fun anyways but there’s always next year! In the fall festival there
was lots of fun stuff like air brush paint booth ,balloon artists, games, crafts, photo booths, wacky hair, trackless train, inflatables, and of course yummy food and drinks. A big shout out to the PTO and the volunteers for working hard and putting this together.!
