The abiotic and biotic factors

In the coniferous forest biotic factors include white spruce, moose, and woodpeckers.

Abiotic factors include rocks, soil, and water.

Human Impact

Humans affect the coniferous forest by means of deforestation. Also by using fossil fuels they cause acid rain. However to protect this biome we can use alternate energy sources and manage logging better.

The Coniferous Forest is a biome with acidic soil. Average precipitation ranges from 300 to 900 mm. Average temperature ranges from -40 to 20 degrees celsius. The trees are 20 meters tall. A vole is a common animal there.

Cool Fact

In the coniferous forest little light reaches the ground.
