You ever feel like your questioning strategies could use an update?


When I was teaching I was constantly looking for new ways to keep students engaged in the lesson. Many times I felt that as soon as I called on a student to answer a question, the rest of the class checked out. Many times cooperative learning strategies such as "tell a neighbor" or "think, pair, share," help.
