OJH Mission
Everyday, Everybody, Responsible and Successful
We wanted to take a minute to give you some updated information around the 2020-2021 school year. This year students will start school in distance learning 2.0 per the state guidelines and conversations with the health department. When school finished last year, NFSD administration and the Spartan Leadership began our planning for this upcoming year to be in-person via a Hybrid model.
As we prepared for the Hybrid we were also planning for at home Distance Learning 2.0 instructing and adjusting our plans. Once are numbers decrease enough we will be ready to implement the Hybrid plan that we created. Both plans have we have common goals for 7-12:
1. To promote consistency, routine, and scheduled learning.
2. To minimize conflict between student and teacher schedules vertically and horizontally.
3. Promote frequent and consistent communication.
4. To promote synchronous and asynchronous instruction.
5. To facilitate attendance/engagement expectations.
We will be sharing information and updates through Facebook (Spartan Supporters) and our website on the details to the plans.
This time creates many challenges for families and community. We want nothing more to provide a quality education and a safe place for students and staff. Thank you for you patience as we have been working to bring this all together for the upcoming school year.
Sincerely,
Jeremy Fox
