Wagner Elementary School
November 2022 Newsletter
I would like to thank all the parents that participated in our Student Led Conferences. It was great to see so many families and I hope that it worked well for you. If you did not get a chance to talk to your child’s teacher or have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school.
I would also like to thank our SCC members who are on our committee for this year. It is very important to our school to have parent support and a group that we can use to bounce new ideas and share the wonderful things our teachers are doing with our students.
Our staff continues to teach our students the Wagner Way. Our students are learning to respectful and responsible young citizens by learning this through our Wagner Way. We continue to have positive behavior ticketing to show our appreciation for the great work that our students do, every day. We find that the kind acts are sometimes forgotten. This is our way to say thanks to our students that take the extra effort to make our school better. Tickets will be handed out and the students will be placing their names in a draw. Each month, one name will be drawn from each grade. As part of the appreciation, our SCC has sponsored gift certificates that our students will be receiving.
It is important for all of us at school that your child enjoys their time at Wagner. If this is not the case, please call us right away so that problems can be addressed. I strongly feel that if students feel safe and are happy at school, they will learn at a very high level. Please let us know if your child is upset so that we can take immediate action.
Please take a moment to remember and give thanks to our veterans. Have a great November!
