This Week's Agenda: English I EOC Benchmark
This week we will finish up our Benchmark test. We are working through the different sections of a released test so the students know what the test will look like when they take it on March 28th. Students are tracking their progress on the different parts of the assessment and use the data to set goals and/or suggest tutorials. Students who have been absent will need to come in before or after school to work on getting their benchmark completed.

Parent & Student Information
I apologize for not having a newsletter yet in 2017. My class rosters changed so much and I've had to work on getting new email lists together.
IMPORTANT DATES:
Monday, February 20: No school for students.
Donations needed: High schools students like treats just as much as younger students, and who doesn't enjoy some candy during work time. I love providing my students with sweet treats or salty treats, but with 170+ students, it gets a bit pricey. I would like to request families to donate bags of candy, chocolate candy, or hard candy, and/or large boxes of gold fish, pretzels, or cheez-its. These are small incentives I can give for students who put forth their best effort.
