Announcement from HVJ DECA!
Sydnee has been managing the digital experience for brands for more than nine years including Avocados for Mexico, Bud Light, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, DFW International Airport, ONT International Airport, Visionworks and many small businesses. In her roles she has led the charge in marketing strategy, social media management, brand identity, content production, web development, SEO, e-commerce, and multi-platform ecosystems.
Sydnee is a digital media expert in the aviation industry and has spoken at conferences on national and global stages. She has led teams of social strategists and has trained agencies, organizations and business owners in social media management in the U.S. and Mexico.
Amid the pandemic in 2020, she launched Digital319 which is a digital media consultancy that specializes in social media strategy, content management, web development and email marketing. She has been a full-time CEO & entrepreneur for two years.
In February 2023, Sydnee became the first-female Virtual Co-creator and footwear designer for DotSwoosh, Nike’s web3 platform. Through this initiative, she will help Nike crossover into the virtual retail space through her sneaker design and connection with a variety of communities. As a Nike Virtual Co-Creator, Sydnee is among the first non-signature athletes to earn royalties off of Nike products.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism from The University of Georgia where she studied the emphasis of Advertising, New Media and Spanish.
Sydnee is a native of Savannah, GA but has been a resident of Dallas, TX since 2014 where she lives with her husband, daughter and Boxer pup, Swoosh. She has traveled to 22 countries and 6 continents. Food, culture, music and sneakers are her love languages.

Jenkins’ Group Website Entry Anime, Frontiers from the Land of the Rising Sun placed Third with each member of the group being awarded a $500.00 scholarship to LaGrange College.

Work Based Learning Announcement
Now taking applications for Work-Based Learning which includes Gulfstream positions for next school year
- Must be classified as a junior or senior next school year
- Complete and submit an application and resume
- Must have good attendance and discipline, three positive teacher recommendations
- Must be able to complete a pathway by graduation
- Possibility of working at Gulfstream
- Must be employed by July
The earlier you complete your application the better your chances are of getting into the program and positions at Gulfstream

Congratulations to Angelica De Los Santos as she is a Positive Athlete Regional Award Winner (Girls Alternative Sport- Wrestling)! She is well deserving of this award! For the ninth consecutive year, Positive Athlete, an organization started by former UGA Football star and Super Bowl XL MVP Hines Ward, will be awarding college scholarships to Georgia high school student-athletes based more on their character than their athletic performance. Over $300,000 in college scholarships have been awarded since the Georgia program’s inception.
