The Great Depression was a period of time from 1929-1939 where the economy collapsed because there were too many workers and not enough jobs after WWI
The Great Mississippi Flood of 1927
The Great Mississippi Flood of 1927 was catastrophic flood where the Mississippi river flooded and went into multiple states. The state that was hit the hardest was Arkansas. Many farmers were not able to grow crops so they moved out to different states and Arkansas was in a huge decline.
