Simply put, literacy is the ability to read and write. At AAA we put a high emphasis on developing literate students. Being able to read and write are essential skills to succeed in education and life. During the school day, students are exposed to many different engaging literacy activities to develop their confindence in reading and writing, and listening, and speaking. These include phonics, comprehension, word study, grammar, spelling, writing, sentence structure, fluency, and so much more. At Literacy Night you will be able to visit the Book Fair, view arts and literacy integration projects, and recieve tips on how to help your child become fluent in literacy skills. | The Hoedown is back! Friday, November 18th Howdy Partners! K-4 Hoedown rehearsals are in full swing. Don your favorite western gear and come join your yungin' for some country line dancing, cold s'mores, and apple cider on November 18th. There'll be time for you to learn the dance after the cowpokes show-off their moves. If sittin' and watchin' is your speed, bring a lawn chair and blanket to enjoy the show.
