TEACHER ADVOCACY DAY
ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE DAYS OF MAY 14-MAY 18, 2018
PTA BOARD MEETING: The May PTA Board Meeting is this Tuesday, May 15 at 8:15. Please remember that our social committee sent out information fro what each grade level should be so that we can celebrate our outstanding volunteers at the meeting with a breakfast. Here is a copy of the email that Kayla sent out. Thanks for your support and attendance at the event.
Volunteer Tea:
After much discussion about previous volunteer teas, we've come to the conclusion that the turn out of volunteers is not as high as it used to be. So, we decided that the volunteer tea will be a volunteer breakfast held at the PTA meeting on May 15th. We figured that the main volunteers would be at the PTA meeting. We are planning on 25 or so volunteers to show up; so as a grade level plan accordingly when bringing in the assigned items.
K- Paper Products (napkins, plates, cups, utensils)
1- Sweets
2- Coffee
3- Fruit
4- Casseroles
5-Juice/Water
SCHOOL NURSES WEEK: We missed celebrating School Nurses Week last week so let's make up for lost time by celebrating our hard working nurse, Amanda Armstrong this week! BTW--She likes candles, chocolate, and bath toiletries!
