Burns and Blows
Alkali Metal Burns
Alkali Metals include the following elements: Lithium, Sodium, Potassium, Rubidium, Cesium, and Francium. Cesium and Francium are the most reactive of the elements in the Alkali Metals. When put into water, Alkali Metals explode. Alkali metals are soft and reactive, and they get even more reactive as you go down the list. Francium and Cesium are used in the bombs and tanks that are used during war.
Reacting Metals
These Alkali Metals react with an explosion when mixed with water.
Sodium and it's Uses
This explosion was made by Sodium as it reacts with a Halogen.
Sodium Explosions
Sodium was used to cause this huge explosion.
