Parking Lot Protocol

School hours may end at 3pm, but students in Extended Care are still on campus and on the playground. Please drive with caution when picking up your child from Extended Care or when headed to basketball practice. Our children are walking to and from the playground for several hours after school, and we want them to be safe. Stick to the designated driveways, don’t cut through the lot, look out for children, and please drive at a reasonable speed.

Catholic Schools Week

Celebrate Catholic Schools Week begins Jan. 31st and runs through Feb. 6th. It’s our opportunity to celebrate our students, families, parishioners and community members. We have some fun optional dress up days and activities planned! Pull out those CSSE yard signs to display, or contact PTO@steugeneschool.org to purchase.
Catholic Schools Week 2021

Coin Drive Starting on Monday!

Our school is holding a coin drive starting Monday the 25th, so check pockets, couch cushions and under car seats! The coin drive will run through the end of Catholic Schools Week with proceeds going to support the Friends of Bolivia orphanage. Usually our 5th graders help raise money for this cause through the school store, which did not get to open this year. If you are interested in making a matching donation for one day’s collection or the duration of the coin drive, please contact media@steugeneschool.org. Students may drop off change in the jug in the school library or in the jug by Mrs. Wilson & Mrs. Price’s room.

Clean Up for Catholic Schools Week!

Saturday, Jan. 30th, 12pm

2400 Hefner Road

The Village, OK

Join us at noon on Saturday, Jan. 30th for a clean up day. Since Catholic Schools Week is coming up, let’s get together and help our campus look its best! We need to spread mulch, move downed limbs, pick up trash and prune whatever damaged limbs within reach. Please sign up and let us know you are coming.

RSVPs are enabled for this event.

The Return of the Gala!

Due to rescheduling and COVID-19, we haven’t had our annual school and church fundraising gala since the Fall of 2018! We are ready to bring back this event, but with concessions for safety. Save the date for our VIRTUAL St. Eugene Gala - April 17, 2021! Our gala committee will send out more info soon!

Eagle Expo!

The Eagle Expo, which usually occurs during Catholic Schools Week, has been postponed at this time. Never fear! Eagle Expo has only been delayed, and will take place in late March. Details will go out at a later date.

COVID-19 Response and Procedures

  • My Child is Ill. What Do I Do? Allergies or COVID? Stomach bug or COVID? It can be hard to decipher what ailment might be affecting your child. We have created some graphics and flowcharts to help you navigate what steps to take when your child or someone in your household is feeling unwell. Please report concerns or questions about illness to Mrs. Goldsworthy at principal@steugeneschool.org, and she will consult with our response team - Mrs. O'Connell and Mrs. Rischard. ALWAYS fill out and submit the Absentee Form (or call Ms. Patrick in the office), then notify your child’s homeroom/house teacher each day of absence.

  • Absences Please use the Absentee Form to report absences AND email your child’s teacher/house homeroom. It is important to communicate why your child is missing school with the teacher and document through the Google form. Please be meticulous in following directions if a child, household member, or close contact has recently tested positive for COVID or is awaiting results of a COVID test. NO ONE IN THE HOUSEHOLD MAY ENTER THE SCHOOL BUILDING if COVID exposure is positive OR in question. Mrs. Goldsworthy MUST clear your household for return to school in all cases where the possibility of COVID is involved. Please send illness updates to Mrs. Goldsworthy.

  • Screening Questions and Carpool Please remember to have your questions answered DAILY and results ready to show on your phone. Students should be masked, on the passenger side for temp checks, and ready to go as soon as carpool teacher opens the door. bit.ly/FamilyDailyQs

  • Spirit Tee Tuesday is EVERY Tuesday! - Students may wear their regular uniform or a St. Eugene spirit tee with jeans or uniform bottoms. Don't forget ALL students dismiss at 2pm EVERY Tuesday!
