Message from the Principal
I like to refer to gratitude during the month of November with our staff. We learned several years ago, that we all felt so much better and happier after practicing some of the more popular ways of being grateful, and giving grace to others. The more we read about it (and shared with our staff), the happier everyone seemed to be feeling. We feel that finding ways to build positive relationships is beneficial for us all. This includes peers, parents, students, kids, community, and family members. I have always heard that if you want to have healthy relationships, start with an attitude of gratitude. And, we have found that the more we practice being grateful, the more relaxed, happy and able to work well with others we are. I wanted to share that with you because it may be something you are interested in reading more about.
Veterans Day, November 11, 2023
We are very grateful for the veterans and active service members for their service. We truly appreciate those of you who have sacrificed so much for us to have what we have today! Thank you.
Gratitude turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity … it makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. Melody Beattie
We hope you have a wonderful weekend.

New Playground Activities
Your kids may have mentioned that we have new and fun things to do on the playground! We have revitalized our playgrounds with several games and activities permanently adhered to the surface. There is a 110’s chart, an activity path, hopscotch, mirror me, and a target (used w/bean bags). The younger playgrounds have a crocodile, snake, caterpillar with letters and numbers. So much fun!
Below are a couple of pictures to give you an idea what it looks like.

What Can Families Do to Improve Attendance?
Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school—and themselves. Start building this habit in preschool so they learn right away that going to school on time, every day is important. Good attendance will help children do well in high school, college and at work.
