Registration Info
All students should plan to attend a registration day the week of August 14-18, 2017.
8/14 - Junior and Senior Registration, 1:00 - 5:00 pm
8/15 - Sophomore Registration, 1:30 - 5:00 pm
8/16 - Freshman Registration, 1:30 - 5:00 pm
8/17 - Makeup Registration, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
At registration, students will update documents, receive a list of classes (this is not their official schedule), their textbooks, and student IDs. Parent signatures are required on forms, so you may want to attend with your student. They will also be able to purchase items like yearbooks, PE clothes, ASB Stickers, and locks for lockers.
If a student is unable to attend registration, they will have to complete the process at the Attendance Office on the first day they start school before attending class. Parent signatures are required on forms and students won't be able to attend class until this process is complete.
Class Schedules
You will be given a list of classes at registration, so that you can obtain textbooks. This is not your schedule, and will not have teachers or periods listed. If you do not have the appropriate academic (a-g) classes and graduation requirements, or if a class is listed twice, or a class is missing, a schedule change may be in order. There will be Schedule Change Request forms available at a table outside the library when you get your textbooks. Requests for specific periods or teachers will not be honored.
You will be able to access your schedule on August 22nd at noon on MyPlan/MyConnect.
On the first day of school, if your schedule does not reflect the appropriate academic (a-g) classes or graduation requirements, if a class is listed twice or a class is missing, come to the Titan Center (K-16) during the period that is incorrect on your schedule.
If you didn't receive the changes you requested, follow the schedule as printed to avoid attendance issues. There will be a time after school starts to request elective changes. Again, Requests for specific periods or teachers will not be honored.
Academic Tutors
If you have Academic Tutor listed on your schedule, on the first day of school you will report to the Titan Center (K-16) during the period you have it listed. You must come to the Titan Center to obtain your Ticket to AT. Instructions will be provided for signing up with a teacher.
PSAT
The PSAT will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. All 10th grade students are paid for by the school district. This exam is a great opportunity to find out what you can work on to get the best score possible on the SAT.
Taking the PSAT again during the Junior year can help improve SAT scores and provides entry to the National Merit Scholarship Program. PSAT/NMSQT registration will begin in September.
Study Aids
Paid Student Tutors
