STATE OF THE ART ON THE PROJECT ACTIVITIES
STAKEHOLDERS WORKSHOPS: All the partners have done the workshops and all chose their assets. TURSAB presents their assets.
Stakeholders’ survey - Hungary is finalising the report. Based on this, partners must prepare a Business Model Canvas. More or less all the partners have already done it.
It is under processing. Exchanged some ideas with University of Budapest and Artifactory.
HU: post graduate program needs 60 credits and 1-year programme. They can include this MOOC as specialisation in the bachelor Tourism and Hospitality in Hungary and guarantee the certification. So, the University can certify it if it’s included as part of their programme. The MOOC needs to be presented according to the requirements of the certification, but they seem to be flexible. The MOOC is linked to the LAP so it’s delayed: We should have started the MOOC, but as it is related to the LAP, we haven’t started it yet. It should have been like as a pilot programme at the university in HU from September, originally. But as it is late, they changed their plans and it is postponed to the second semester.
It is important to stick to the Gantt chart.

The storytelling questions can be similar. If you have anything creative we don’t have restrictions. Dissertation at the end.
Artifactory’s idea was to complete the work by putting together experts and not experts.
If, for instance, some items are not registered (ex. Unesco, registered archives, etc…) it does not matter, we need to write it down
University of Konya has developed a draft of LAP based on the Artifactory’s template. Their LAP is very long but we don’t need that amount of data. Storytelling is the most important part. LAP can be created by individuals or teams at the end of the MOOC.

1 LAP per asset
In this chapter we need to collect all the information and we need to make the story: To build a story it is necessary to know what happens in that place and what makes it have a value for attracting people. Stories that are beyond technicalities, professional knowledge, but that can be accessible and attractive to all. In the ibook there will be only the stories/emotions
Artifactory tells us that we need to build stories on the assets, they are the most important parts.
Tursab will use cities as assets, 5 locations

Instructions on the template on how to write the stories (from 400 to 600 words, for each asset 10-12 pictures max – size of photos 1800 high definition, geolocations, videos must be very short or connected to the story telling, 1 minute video shot)

Guided tour at Villaggio Artigiano in Modena where the 5 assets are:

The 5 now 6, Italian geolocations are all placed in the city of Modena, but it is important to underline that they have to be considered as relevant locations in the framework of the VILLAGGIO ARTIGIANO (Craftsman Village), that is very important to explain in order to understand the importance of the single assets in relation to the history and cultural development of the city of Modena.
The Craftsman Village is located in the western part of Modena, in an area that until recently could be considered "first suburb", but which today is almost central to the structure of the city that has gradually expanded. The Village has an illustrious history. It was born in 1953 following the post-war economic crisis and the massive redundancies that ensued: the mayor Corassori and the architect Mario Pucci carried out a real public intervention of social innovation "ante-litteram", buying and urbanizing agricultural land and reselling it at low prices to many unemployed skilled workers, giving them the opportunity to become entrepreneurs. The workshop houses, emblem of an inseparable link between work and life, reflected the initiative of the inhabitants and the community bond of the village, constituted as a true and proper production chain.
In fact, it is the first model of a craft village in Italy.
The mayor Corassori believed a lot in this bet on the future, to the point of organizing meetings with the unemployed workers to convince them to take the risk, to accept the economic and personal sacrifice necessary to start a company. The physical union of medium, small and very small companies made their strength: the new artisan quarters began to function as productive systems, materials and semi-finished products travelled, productive and service relationships intertwined, trade union and professional associations developed. Next to the productive sector, a community of residents was born, which in the following decades became consolidated, experimenting with new forms of participation and sharing.
The project far exceeded the initial expectations of the Administration: the Village was extended to an area of 800,000 square meters, to then reach the current size, with about 200 activities established.
Amigdala association is managing some cultural and creative projects in the area, such as Anonymous Letters to a Walker, theatre festival and participatory projects.
