Trimble Tech HS

From Doc Braud:

Wednesday night the storms came rolling in and I am sure I wasn’t the only one wondering if the Inaugural Trimble Tech Charity Golf Classic was going to happen but it was an amazing success. Coach Thomas and Coach Stanley, the Trimble Tech Golf Program, and the Trimble Tech Athletic Programs would like to thank to all that participated as well as to the sponsors! A very big THANK YOU to all of our sponsors that helped make this tournament a huge success, those sponsors were:

BSN Sports

Meadowbrook Golf Course

Southside Bank

Top Golf Fort Worth

First Tee of Fort Worth

Yovani Gallardo

Roxanne Martinez

Tech Alumni of 1980’s

A Big Congratulations to the team of Damon Stanley, John Wynne, Wes Niemec, and James Price with a score of 55 won the tournament!

As Coach Thomas stated at the tournament, we truly appreciate all of those who participated and help sponsor this tournament. Coach Thomas and Coach Stanley were asked to rebuild the golf program and in a very short time have gotten a lot of student involvement and are still trying to get some of their students outfitted. If you have any old golf equipment please feel free to reach out to either of them (Mark.thomas@fwisd.org or Cole.Stanley@fwisd.org) and I promise it will go to good use whether its clubs, bags, and/or balls.

Again thank you to everybody who participated in what turned out to be a beautiful day. This will be an annual event and they are already making plans for next year to top this years event. Here are the photos that I was able to take, thanks and look forward to seeing everybody come back next year.

FWISD Athletic Training

Carter-Riverside HS

Bryan Rios was accepted into UTA and is considering his options for his educational future. So far, he's been an asset as a senior trainer for Carter's football team and looks forward to working with girls' soccer this winter. Here is a photo of our student athletic training aides practicing taping in their Wednesday Athletic Training classes in preparation for the hopes of starting Sports Medicine I in the Spring. So far, they've learned the foot, the lower leg, and researched fun information exclusive to what Athletic Trainers pass in knowledge from one generation to another. We will continue learning the knee this week. Picture is taken by Spain in the girls' athletic training room.
