Comments from Mrs. Hibler
As we settle into our new normal, I would like to remind parents to continue to check Digital Academy regarding missing assignments for your child. Please be sure you are communicating with the teachers regarding any and all concerns. Students in grades 3-8 should be checking email in the morning and afternoon, Monday-Friday. Last evening, we will release report cards digitally. Should you experience any issues viewing report cards, please reach out to Mrs. Rowe. I continue to keep you in my prayers. Stay home, stay safe, have faith in God.
Godspeed,
Mrs. Hibler

A note from the Parish
In accordance with that directive, the Ohio Catholic Bishops have extended the prohibition on public liturgies through Sunday, May 3. As we enter into the most sacred time of the year - Holy Week, the Triduum and Easter Sunday, I invite you to join St. Jude, St. Agnes and St. Mary churches for our live streams of Mass on Facebook:
Easter Schedule
1. Palm Sunday - 10:00 a.m. St. Mary; 11:00 a.m. St. Jude both live-streamed to the "Elyria Catholic Cluster" Facebook Page
2. Holy Thursday - 7:00 p.m. St. Jude live-streamed to the "Elyria Catholic Cluster" Facebook Page
3. Good Friday - 3:00 p.m. St. Mary live-streamed to the "Elyria Catholic Cluster" Facebook Page
4. Holy Saturday - 8:00 p.m. live streamed on "St. Jude Church" Facebook page
5. Easter Sunday - 10:00 a.m. St. Mary 11:00 a.m. St. Jude both live-streamed to the "Elyria Catholic Cluster" Facebook Page
Please know you remain in our prayers during this time. Our church might be a little quieter for the moment, but our parish can still be alive within your individual homes. Remember, you are the Church, even within the unexpected hermitage we have all found ourselves dwelling. Though we should continue on with strong prayer and catechesis as individual families at home, we can still connect as a parish through online capabilities. Here is how:
Mass Online
We have worked hard to help you have access to watch Mass. I want to encourage everyone to find and ‘like’ the Elyria Catholic Cluster Facebook page – that is a combined page for St. Agnes, St. Jude and St. Mary churches. We will be live-streaming daily reflections; Friday night Stations of the Cross, and Sunday 11:00 a.m. Mass in addition to posting other resources and informational updates.
Your Sunday offering
Please also remember, even though our church is quiet, facility utilities do not go away. The needs of our community, ministry, and families still remain as well. We cannot meet these needs without your help. As we are not able to serve in large groups or in person, our gifts of prayer and treasure are ever so important, even crucial to get us through this difficult time.
If you haven’t already, please consider setting up a gift online. It takes two simple steps and the rest is seamless, automatic, and very flexible. Please visit our donation page at St. Jude Online Giving to learn more about this important service. If you prefer, you can also set up ACH payments through a checking or savings account.
You can also continue to mail your gifts and envelopes to the parish at:
St. Jude Church
590 Poplar St.
Elyria, OH 44035
If you have any questions regarding your online donation or ACH payments, please contact Cindy Kozma at 440-366-5711 ext. 107 or ckozma@saintjudeparish.org.

We highly recommend enabling the Waiting Room feature. This security enhancement is one of the best ways to protect your Zoom virtual classroom by giving you control over who can join your class and when. The Virtual Waiting Room can be enabled for every class (in your settings) or for individual classes at the scheduling level.
