Understanding Technology-The Power of the Chromebook!When students are on the school-provided Chromebooks they are to be used for school work and school projects. Please be aware that when students are at school they are using the school's server which has filters and firewalls to filter out unwanted media. However, when students are at home, and are on the home server, they have access to everything on the internet if your home system does not have any firewalls installed. If you would like to learn more about the internet and social media, Katie Morse Lebarton will be speaking on this subject March 7 at 6:00-7:15 at SELU in the Ballroom. This is an adult only event. The dates below are when we will schedule our LEAP test. We have decided to split it into 2 weeks in the hopes to help students feel better about testing. April 25, 26, and 27(ELA and Math) May 2, 3(Science and Social Studies) All testing is on Chromebooks so make sure those Chromebooks are charged and ready to go. We did practice LEAP test this past week, and THANK YOU parents and students for having those Chromebooks charged. It was very successful because we worked together as a team. You all Rock!! | Book Fair at LES in the Library with our librarian Ms. Walker!! Book Fair is coming up and I invite you to come shop with your student at his/her book fair time.
