Websites and Resources
Below are some of the websites and resources that I consider to be the best for early childhood aged children. These certainly are not the only ones, but they will give you a good place to start!
Go Noodle
Movement and Mindfulness videos created by child development experts. A great resource to find brain break videos for children of all ages

ABCya!
ABCya! is a great website for educational games for children ages prek-6 grade. You can use these activities in a group setting or in your computer center in the classroom

SeeSaw
SeeSaw is an app that can be used with both parents and students. At the prek age it can be used to share photos, videos and short paragraphs about what is going on within the classroom and activities your student has been doing. Parents can use this app to communicate with the teacher about questions they have or photos they see posted onto their child's portfolio page. The best thing is that everything you post sends individually and stays private between you and the other person!
Storyline Onlilne
Storyline Online is a free resource that has various book titles being read aloud by famous actors. They use great voices and bring the stories alive. They show the pictures from the book during the read aloud. It is a great resource to use when you want a read aloud that is fun and engaging for your students.
Starfall
In your classroom and at home you can use the ABC tool to work on letter recognition and letter sounds. It is an interactive tool that has activities, songs and pictures that introduce and read aloud the letter and its sound.
Connect what your child is learning at school to at home learning by asking them what letter they are learning in school and explore that letter together

BrainPop Jr.
BrainPop Jr has interactive games and videos for multiple content areas (science, math, technology, language arts) This is a very helpful tool in hooking your students to the introduction of new topics
