News and Notes

Dear Parents,

Thanksgiving is a time of gratitude. I am truly grateful to be the principal of Transfiguration School and to work with all of you and your children during these unprecedented times. I want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for all you for your children, their teachers and me. I wish you a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving.

Report cards will be published through TADS educate today at 1:00 o'clock. I will be sending out directions at 1:00 to refresh your memory. After viewing the report card, you must click on the word acknowledge to acknowledge that you have viewed the report card. That is like the old signing of the report card envelope. This is found below the report card, when you scroll to the bottom of the report card.

Don't forget that tomorrow is an 11:45 dismissal and Wednesday we have no school.

Picture retakes are Tuesday, November 30th.

Have a great week and a wonderful Thanksgiving,

Ms. Kazan

Music Teacher

Mrs. Suzanne Gerbosi, our Music teacher will be leaving Transfiguration School after 8 years. Her last day will be December 3rd. She will be greatly missed, and we wish her well.

I am pleased to announce that Mr. Alfred DalPino will be joining us as the new Music teacher. He currently teaches as St. Eugene's and is a voice and piano teacher at school of Rock. We are excited to welcome him to our school.

Because of the change of music teacher, we will have a change in the gym schedule. Starting the week of December 6th, middle school gym will be now be on Tuesday and Friday.

Any age-appropriate items are welcome. The children are quite content to receive warm clothing, a toy, craft, ball, book, etc. If shopping is not for you, gift cards to stores like Amazon, Old Navy, Target, Visa are equally appreciated!

  • Typical Gift Amount: $25
  • Items should be Gift Wrapped or Gift Bag
  • CLEARLY LABELED with the Tag # and Name

Gift Drop Off: Please send your WRAPPED/LABELED gift into school any day between now and Friday, 12/10. This will allow us time to account for all the gifts and return them to the Church prior to pick-up on Sunday after mass.
