Change a Child's Story 101

2:00-3:30 Erin McGargill and Rev. Steward will be presenting information on how to get started, where to find resources, and how to keep going to meet your church's audacious goal!
3:30-4:00 Optional time for churches to network together
Erin McGargill is a life-long United Methodist and currently attends Walnut Hills UMC in Urbandale. Erin is a member of the Bishop's Poverty to Opportunity Task Force. She has a background in elementary special education and is an instructional coach in the Des Moines School District. Erin is also an Educational Consultant with Educational Development Corporation, home to Usborne and Kane Miller Books.
Rev. Steward is an elder in the Conference and pastor at Sheridan Park UMC on the eastside of Des Moines. He is also a member of the Bishop's Poverty to Opportunity Task Force.
