Mid Quarters are coming!
Aloha PHIS Families!
It is hard to believe, but we are nearly to midquarter! Teachers will be posting grades for midquarter on Friday, September 8. Please check Infinite Campus for this information. We will provide copies for students to carry home the week of September 11. If you are having difficulty accessing Infinite Campus, please contact our tech coordinator Arjuna McGowen for assistance at arjuna.mcgowen@k12.hi.us.
Football in Action against Kaʻu
Our Pāhoa Daggers chalked up their first win of the season again the Kaʻu Trojans. Please keep up to date with all of the Dagger action and support our team!
Volleyball at Kaʻu.
Our first game was a gut wrencher as we lost to the Kaʻu Trojans at Kaʻu. There is a lot of season to go, so support our Daggers! (pardon the old picture - more photos coming soon!)
Community Work Day
Under the guidance of Darien Matlock and Christian Atalig, PHIS is partnering with Vibrant Hawaii to revitalize our agriculture field. We are cutting back invasive grasses and preparing the site for raised planting beds and preparing for a new greenhouse on campus. If you are interested, please see the attached flier and contact us. We will be having lunch and a talk story time at the end of the day.
Pastries with the Principal on September 15 from 9-10:00 am
Please stop by to have pastries and coffee with Mr. Williamson. He will be available for questions, thoughts, ideas for the school year.
