Wrestling

Starting Monday Sept 27th - Mon-Thu anyone who is interested in possibly joining the girls or boys wrestling teams are invited and encouraged to start attending our pre-season workouts from 4-5:30pm in the cafeteria.

3A Leadership Summit

Several student-athletes represented PHHS today at the 3A Leadership Summit at Snow College. They focused on teamwork and leadership.

EVENTS:

Color Guard Presentations: Varsity Volleyball Game, Thur, 30 Sep 2021 at 6:30 pm. Cadets should arrive in uniform no later than 6:00 pm.


FALL JROTC PRACTICE SCHEDULE:

1. Drill Team (Team Captains: Emily Olson / Madeline Feltenberger)

Tuesdays 3 - 4 pm in the Prov Hall HS Parking Lot

Fridays 6 - 7 am in the Prov Hall Junior High Gym


2. Color Guard (Team Captain: Robert Taylor)

Tuesdays 4 - 5 pm. Meet at the JROTC equipment shed at 4:00 pm.


3. Air Rifle

Fridays 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm. High School Cafeteria. Meet at 2 pm at Room 236 (upstairs) to fill rifles with compressed air then walk to cafeteria.

Saturdays 8 am - 9:30 am. High School Cafeteria. Meet at 8 am at Room 236 (upstairs) to fill rifles with compressed air then walk to cafeteria.

National Honor Society

The PHHS Chapter of the National Honor Society will be accepting applications from Sept. 1 - Sept. 29! This is open for any 10th through 12th grader that is interested in participating in group service projects, building strong character, and celebrating academic success with their peers. Academic qualifications require that students have (and maintain) a GPA of 3.0 or higher to be considered. Pick up an application today from Ms. B.Anderson, Mr. Seabury, or Ms.C.Jensen (or email banderson@providencehall to receive the application via email). LAST Day to submit a completed application (to the above mentioned advisors) is Wednesday, September 29th!

Some banks and credit unions offer scholarships to their members or clients! Search the name of your bank or credit union + "scholarship" to see what is available. Here are two examples from Cyprus Credit Union and Mountain America Credit Union, plus this scholarship from Wells Fargo specifically for students with disabilities.

Patriot Families, the Nutrition Department would like to share with you that you will have the option to order a breakfast and lunch for your students to have for Focus Fridays. We will have the order form available as a link on the Patriot Hall website under the Nutrition tab. You will have access to order your student(s)meals up until the Monday BEFORE Focus Fridays. On this form it will ask you for your students school, student number, and what the option will be. The breakfast and lunch meals will be a, set, full complete reimbursable meal under the NSLP guidelines. This menu will be available for viewing on our online menu forum, Meal Viewer,
