CBSD Health & Safety Plan Update
Dear Parents,
As you have been made aware, the district informed the CB community about the most recent masking update. At this time (12/15/21), masking is optional for students and staff.
I continue to ask all families to notify me and our Certified School Nurse (Tina Boyer tboyer@cbsd.org) if your child, or someone in your family, tests positive for Covid. If your child tests positive, or is a household close contact, you will receive direct communication from me about the district guidelines.
Classroom email blasts, as well as bus emails, will still be sent to that specific grouping if a positive case is reported.
I ask all families to be mindful of their child’s symptoms. If you ever have a question, please feel free to contact me or our health office.
Sincerely,
Mike Testani
Winter Programs are Almost Full!
If you have not already signed up for a program, please use the links below to register. We ask that each student sign up for only one program as space is limited due to health and safety restrictions.
Once you have signed-up, using the below links, please send in cash/check (made payable to LHSA and write the program in the memo line) or use mypaymentsplus.com
Below are the links for the programs that have space available. All other programs are full.
All sign-ups will close and payment is due by December 21st .

“Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
― Mark Twain
This quote may optimize the wish that many parents have for their children’s future. Some of you may be fortunate enough to feel that way about your own career. Finding that ideal job is the challenge and for our children it is often a matter of “trying things on” to see what fits. The link below shares interesting looks at how people feel about the work they do. Although many of the videos may be more appropriate for older students, some could be fun for the younger ones such as Kite Designer or Experimental Film and Stop Motion Animator.
Perhaps take a few minutes over the upcoming school break and watch some of these with your sons and daughters. Ask them what they think, and listen. You both may learn something about “a job you enjoy doing.”
