Ships Monday Memo

Mid-Summer Edition: July 13th, 2020

This Week...

Greetings Ships and Ships Families! We hope you all had a great Fourth of July and are enjoying the very summer-like weather we've been fortunate enough to have the last couple of weeks! Many of our students continue to work on demonstrating their mastery of Essential Learning through various summer school opportunities and have successfully managed to earn Passing grades! Congrats and keep up the good work!

It's LHS Graduation week!! Please show your support of our Ships Graduates by joining in the Senior Send-Off and watch our Ships 'sail' down Grand Avenue (between S 9th St. and Ron Rubick Field) on Saturday, July 14th between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

We will be sure to keep you up-to-date on school news, throughout the summer!

Publication dates will be the following:

July 27

Aug 10

Stay Home, Wash Your Hands, Practice Social Distancing.

It's Graduation Week, Seniors!!

HERE is a link to the Graduation Memo, which provides detailed information around this Saturday's commencement ceremony. Contrary to our plans, hopes & dreams, of holding a more traditional-type of graduation ceremony; our team is committed to making Senior Saturday a special celebration of our deserving 2020 grads!

Thinking About Next Year...

Picture Day/Schedule Pick-up Day

The August 5th Picture Day is cancelled.

The Manitowoc Public School District and Lincoln High School Administration are working to communicate plans all back to school events, taking into consideration all survey data from families and staff.

Personal Belongings

We still have a number of items that were not able to be delivered, as they were in a location other than an assigned locker or PE locker. If you were expecting personal belongings to be delivered and believe you have left something behind, please send an email to any member of our administration team. We will ask that you describe the item(s) and where you believe they were located and we will make arrangements to get you your belongings. Eventually, these items will be placed in a "lost-and-found" location.

School Property Closures

Reminder, please remember that all school property remains closed. There is absolutely no use of buildings or grounds without the consent of the building administrator. This includes tracks/fields, playgrounds, parking lots, etc.
