Faculty and Staff Newsletter • September 10, 2018
Meet the Teachers - Monday, September 10th, 6:00 pm
This is not the time to discuss grades or behavior with parents. If they try to initiate such a conversation, please remind them that they can set up a conference with you and with the entire Academic Team if they so choose. You may wish to have a syllabus to hand out that includes your conference time and contact information.
EVERYONE is expected to be present. We will keep things as brief as we can, but this is an important opportunity for us to connect with parents and the community.

Team Meetings
Below is a photo of documentation and interventions one 8th grade team has done. (Student names and phone numbers have been masked).
This is one example of how you can use your team time. You may also pull students if you need to conference together with him/her. (Thank you, Mr. Martinez, Mr. Carrell, Mrs. Rodriguez and Mrs. Garcia, for sharing this with us.)
This would also be a perfect time to talk about what each of you are currently teaching so that you can determine how you can support one another in your class.
