Student Handbook Review Reminder
Here is a link to the entire handbook: http://www.siouxcityschools.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/2018-19-Parent-Student-Handbook.pdf
The handbook should have been reviewed by all students and parents, but please be sure to go over the following in your Advisory:
Attendance, Anti-Bullying, Dress/Appearance, Drug Free Campus, Student Code of Conduct, Technology
In alignment with the Code of Conduct, when all interventions and consequences in the classroom have been exausted, please be sure to contact your grade level principal. You can use the black button in your room to call the front office and they will be able to radio the appropriate principal.
9th grade - Ron Koch
10th grade - Rebecca Rieken
11th grade - Al Pace
12th grade - April Tidwell
If the grade level principal is not available, another available principal will assist.
A principal will contact Officer Klocke or Officer Baker if assistance is needed.
Please do not send students to the former ADA area. We will be utilizing this space for ISS, which will be an administrative decision.
As we continue to roll out PBIS, more clarification and strategies will be communicated to the staff. We still have not received updated referral forms, but if you need to document an incident we have copies of the old forms in the office that you can use.
