If your child is absent, you have 5 days to clear an absence. Please call or email Mayra Salcedo, msalcedo@lbschools.net, with the below information:
- Student Complete Name
- Date(s) of Absence(s)
- Grade
- Teacher
- Reason for the absence
If your child is absent especially if they have tested Covid positive call the office at 562-595-6337. You can let your teacher know, but it is imperative to notify the front office.
If a student is leaving early to go to an appointment or coming in late because of an appointment, please ensure to bring the note justifying the excuse as soon as possible. Per District Policy we are unable to go back retroactively for a period beyond 5 days and change that.
***30 min or more LATE without a valid excuse is deemed as a truancy.
