Looking Forward to the Year Ahead
As you anticipate packing up and returning to campus we wanted to be sure to pass along some important information that will aid you in the transition to a new semester. Please take some time to read over this newsletter and let us know of any questions or concerns you may have!
We're excited to get this year started!
Important Survey Coming Soon
As BBC looks toward university status and a corresponding name change, we’re looking for your input.
Credo, a dynamic higher education consulting organization, is helping BBC leaders craft a strategy. An online survey of current students – as well as many other groups, like faculty and alumni – will be in your inbox soon. Please take a short bit of time to fill it out and share your thoughts and ideas. Thanks in advance for your help.
Guiding Principles
This summer we spent a significant amount of time reviewing and rewriting various documents and policies - one of those being the student handbook - thanks for your patience while we ironed out details.
Our Student Handbook expresses a comprehensive rationale and guidelines for entertainment, media, community living, and other aspects of student life.
Convocation Chapel
Community Groups
To Live in Community at BBC is to live, learn, and grow together. This summer BBC faculty and staff are diligently preparing to Live in Community with you in ways yet experienced – to live, learn, and grow together in Community Groups. Community Groups are faculty and staff led, gender specific, student centered groups designed to serve you in your personal, spiritual, social and academic growth. There’s no need to worry about adding another event to your already busy calendar. Community Groups will meet during select chapel hours throughout the course of the semester. Be looking for more information as we get closer to the start of Community Groups during a special chapel in early September.
