Reflection of Light
Mr. Janes 2nd hour Science class: Riley, Julia, and Ashlee
Image
Light likes to reflect off of smooth surfaces. When in action, an image is formed when light is reflected off smooth, shiny surfaces. For example, a mirror is an example of an image.
Mirrors
MIrrors are shiny surfaces made of silver-coated glass or polished metal. For example, a ray of light can reflect off a flat mirror. If you drop the a ball straight down to the floor, it obviously bounces back up. If you throw the ball down at an angle, it will bounce off at an angle.
MISC.
Rough, shiny surfaces are capable of reflecting light, but doesn't form a complete image.
