Message from Jeff and Yolanda
As school leaders we know that any individual recognition received is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of the teachers, students and parents. So when such an occasion presents itself we must accept it not because we feel we are worthy of it as individuals but for the value that such an award brings in helping promote the mission of our schools and the dedication of our teachers. Having said that, we are thrilled to announce that the Florida Tax Watch organization has named Jeff Rexford as a 2017 Principal Leadership Award winner. The award recognizes principals from around the state for making a difference in their school, their community, and the education of Florida's next generation. Jeff, along with eight other principals from throughout Florida, will be honored at a dinner on October 12th in Orlando.
Florida Tax Watch is an organization devoted to public policy research which prides itself on finding innovative ideas and policies that can make Florida a national example of excellence. To learn more about the Principal Leadership Award go to FloridaTaxWatch.org.
