T3 Schedules

Our tech department is working to get all of our new encore classes entered into PowerSchool for the third trimester, as well as all new schedules for the students who have changed their educational setting. Core classes should not change unless your child is moving from remote to hybrid, or hybrid to remote learning. Updated schedules will be emailed home by the end of the week. Similar to Trimester 2, Mr. Henkel and Mrs. Krall-Meske need to look a these schedules carefully. Please let us know if you notice any errors once they have been received.

LRC News

Thanks to the many students who participated in Book Blind Dating this month. Mrs. Malecki, our awesome LRC assistant, is almost finished finding all the Perfect Match-ups. Many, many thanks to her for all her hard work. She and I hope you are enjoying reading something new and perhaps out of your usual "comfort zone".

We have many, many, many library books checked out right now. PLEASE return any books you have finished reading as soon as possible. Remember, Hybrid students, you can bring your books to school and return them in the basket in your Cohort Rooms; Remote Academy students, the return cart is in the school vestibule and you can return the books any day school is open from 7am until 6pm.

Stay tuned for another match-up opportunity next month: Spring Break Book Buddies...

Reminder: Remote Planning Day - Monday, March 1st

The district will be utilizing the final planning day provided by the state on Monday, March 1st. Staff will use this time to prepare to welcome the students that are changing their learning environment and for learning in the 3rd trimester. This will be a non-attendance day for students.

Reminder: Material Pick Up Day - February 25th

All students who are enrolled in the Remote Academy will have Trimester 3 items to be picked up from RTMS on Thursday, February 25th between 4:00-7:00 p.m. Please be ready to pop your trunk for a contactless drop off, and hold up a sign with your child's last name and grade level.

All students who are changing from remote to hybrid learning for the third trimester should also stop by during this time to pick up their lanyard and pad of health certification forms that must be filled in daily.

Reminder: Erin's Law

Though it will look a little differently this year, our Social Emotional Learning team (social workers and school psychologist) will be presenting information regarding Personal Body Safety to all students in sixth through eighth grade beginning in March. They will use morning Advisory time to do so, using a Zoom webinar format so that both hybrid and remote students receive the same information.

Please see this letter for more information.

Any families who choose to opt out of this state mandated presentation may fill in this form to do so.
