My name is Kristy Dillon, and I am the Parent Liaison for the Middle School at Parkside. My husband and I are both proud JPS alumni, and we have two sons. Our oldest graduated from Jackson High in 2020 and our youngest son is a junior at Jackson High.

I work with students, families, staff and the Jackson Community. I can help you set up PowerSchool accounts and can link all of your students together. I can also answer any questions you might have regarding PowerSchool. My goal is to make sure that I am able to assist all of our families through the middle school process.

The goal of PAVE (Parkside Adult Volunteers for Education) is to support Parkside through volunteering, donations & fundraising. We believe that the school NEEDS parents/guardian & community members involved to be successful & to enrich the student’s learning experience. We meet throughout the school year to plan events or set up volunteering opportunities.

*The next PAVE Meeting will be on Tuesday, March 22 2022, at 6:00 pm in the Parkside Welcome Center Conference Room. Please enter at the new Welcome Center.

Jackson High School New Student Orientation

Tuesday, March1 from 6:00 - 7:30 pm is the Jackson High School New Student Orientation for our current 8th grade students and families. The Orientation will begin in the JHS Auditorium. There will also be student led tours of the building. We hope our 8th grade families are able to make it over to get a glimpse of what their school day will be like next year. Lifetouch Spring Pictures

Lifetouch will be here on March 15 for Spring Pictures. They will only photograph the students that have paid online or have a picture packet with money in it on that day. We do not photograph all of the students. That only happens in the Fall. Please be sure to have your student pick up a Spring Picture Day form in their grade office if they plan on having theirs done. We will also have some forms in the main office. Parkside Community Closet

This is our 6th year that Parkside has the Community Closet available to our students & families. Hunger, lack of appropriate clothing, shoes & basic hygiene supplies is an issue that many students face. Visit our Facebook page (Parkside Community Closet)
