TPCS Family Update

January 16th to 20th, 2023

Information for Families

Dear Stinger Families,

January is ramping up to be a busy month at TPCS. We have an intramural floor hockey program running for our Grade 4-8 students at morning recess and many other clubs happening for our primary students.

We are still looking for volunteers to assist in our library. We are able to accomodate your schedule. Volunteers will be shelving books and assisting students with signing out books. Please email Mrs. Nitschke at nitschkek@limestone.on.ca if you are able to volunteer.

The school is hosting a Family Literacy night on Thursday, January 26th. There is information in a poster below. You can sign up to attend on School Day. You only need to sign up under one of your children. There is a space on the School Day form to include any school age children that will be attending with you and require child care.

Lennox and Addington Youth Hub is offering free afterschool programming for students in Grades 7 and 8 at The Prince Charles School beginning this week. Students will be able to hang out after school on Wednesdays at the school and do a variety of activities. This program is free and snacks are provided. There are also other free opportunities for youth (Grade 7 and 8) in the Napanee community. Information is below in the update.

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at the school if you have questions or need support.

Take care and BEE well,

Mrs. Nitschke, Mme Aikens and the TPCS School Team
