Golden Girls Win Class 6 State Championship

Last April the Golden Girls held tryouts and began the long 10 month journey that is the dance season. That journey ended on Saturday night with the GG's winning the Class 6 State Dance Championship for the second time in the past three years. The GG's earned 1st place performances in both their jazz and hip-hop routines. Those two performances catapulted them atop the team standings and earned them a Class 6 State Championship. The Golden Girls were coming off a strong trip to the UDA Nationals where they earned a 5th place finish for their hip-hop routine. Congratulations to our Golden Girls, coaches and parents for their efforts this season in representing Howell both at the State and National level. It has truly been a great year to be a Golden Girl and a Viking!
