UHMS - Parent Newsletter
November Edition
Phoenix Learning
We are quickly approaching the end of the first semester. Your scholar has been embarking upon new concepts and engaging in new learning experiences. We at Hampton are thrilled to partner with you designed for your scholar’s academic growth and success. We know there are many options available in which your child could obtain an education, but we are so excited that you have chosen Hampton for them to learn and grow. We strive to create an atmosphere where teachers and administrators can do their best work, and so can our children. Our goal is to increase student achievement by communicating with parents regarding curriculum, expectations, and progress. Therefore, grades will be updated weekly and can be accessed via the Parent Portal. However, there’s a lot more to be accomplished, and we need your help. We recognize how important your involvement is in making this a successful school year. As a team the overall objective is creating a better school and a better educational experience for our children. But we cannot accomplish this without your help. This month we are implementing several parental involvement opportunities:
- Phoenix Phamily Meeting - Science Night
- Phoenix Phamily Meeting - Reading Night
- VIP meeting
- 6th Grade College Exploration Field Trip; and
- Campus Preview Day.
Please come out and be part of the learning at Uplift Hampton Preparatory Middle School.
