HSSF Giving Tuesday

An HSE Schools holiday tradition is right around the corner. Every year, the largest charitable holiday known as #GivingTuesday kicks off the giving season. This special day – designed to restore the spirit of the season – is in direct response to the commercialism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

You can help HSE Schools earn up to $26,000 in matching funds from local philanthropists. On 11.28.17, David Becker Family, Allen and Melissa Bourff, Kevin and Shelly Clasen Family, Bud and Karen Colglazier, John and Amy DeLucia, Joe and Florie Eaton, Kevin and Diana Ephlin Family, Bill French, Fritz in Fishers, Michelle and Greg Fullhart, The Henderson Family, Todd and Denise Huston, Walt and Sheila Kelly, John and Kyle Kroehler, Tom Long of Long and Associates CPA, John McDonald, Kurt and Cathy Meyer Family, John and Dorothy Mills, Tracy and Jessica Mills Family, Jodi and Greg Osmun, Mike and Paula Peterson, Terry and Lisa Tolle, Corby Thompson, and anonymous donors are launching an around the clock match every hour of GivingTuesday!

Double your impact on local schools by visiting to make a donation and proclaim your #HSSFunselfie!

Soles 4 Souls

Scouting is not only about camp and merit badges. Scouting provides the opportunity to participate in adventures, build character, understand responsibility and much, much more – even the concepts of thriftiness and “helping others at all times.”

Cub Scout Pack 190 recognizes the struggles that many underprivileged people face. In turn, we, along with the entire Crossroads of America Council, BSA has partnered with Soles4Souls to collect 25,000 pairs of shoes in hopes of changing 25,000 lives. In partnering with Soles4Souls, we are showing youth that by collecting shoes, oppressed lives can gain relief or confidence and even aid in the building and management of self-sustainable micro-enterprises.

Scouts will be collecting shoes Nov 11th to Nov 27th or shoes can be dropped off at Cumberland Road Elementary School in the entryway.
