All-Ages Community Art Event: December 19-December 30
Looking for something to do the next few weeks? Paint a tile at the Coos Bay Public Library. Tiles will go on display in early January and may be used in future art installations. The theme of this round's installation is "hopes and dreams for Coos County". You could also paint a favorite book, character, or other art inspired by a book. This round of tile painting is being funded through a grant the Coos County Cultural Coalition. All tiles will remain the property of the Coos Bay Public Library.

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library
Help us succeed in providing all children in Coos Bay, Charleston, and Allegany with access to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library by spreading the word about the program. Each month we currently reach over 500 children, but, we know from Census Data that there are more eligible children under 5 within in our community. Each enrolled child receives a free book every month in the mail. The program is made possible through the support of generous donors and the Dolly Parton Foundation. Signing up is easier than ever for Coos Bay residents-you can sign up online. Tell your friends and neighbors!
