Career Exploration: Costco and NYC

Career Exploration is your chance to meet with Communication professionals around Seattle and around the nation. We have two upcoming trips - the applications are open now!


Costco Headquarters

On this trip, we will be taking 5 students to Costco in Issaquah to learn about corporate communication from experts who know the ins and outs of internal and external strategies.

JJ Caprices, a new online fashion boutique that features extraordinary handmade women's accessories, is looking for a Marketing / Social Media Intern. Duties include: taking brilliant Instagram pics, creating interesting Pinterest boards, blogging about fashion (and travel), writing clever tweets, and helping with marketing projects.

The NASA Astrobiology Debates Western Championship

Our department is being featured as the host for the NASA Astrobiology Debates on October 17-18, 2015. These are public-oriented debates wherein participants debate the topic:
"Resolved: an ethical obligation to protect and preserve extraterrestrial microbial-life and ecosystems should be incorporated into international law."
