Teacher Weekly
St. Vincent de Paul Parish School
Greetings Staff!
I hope each of you enjoyed some YOU time over this Spring Break. You each are deserving of some quiet relaxing time for your hard work here at SVDP each and every day! Thank you for all that you do!
Over the Spring break we finalized our STEM application to the State of Ohio. We should hear back in the next few weeks if we will gain STEM equivalent designation. As you know, our current STEM program is highly founded on PBLs, technology and Stewardship. We will continue on this path towards integrating more subjects into our PBLs with a solid Engineering component built into the PBLs as well. I love the conversation I hear as I walk through the halls about some upcoming PBLs (Middle School's Great Garbage Patch!, 5th grade's Solar System project, 3rd grade's play, and Kindergarten's Water Cycle). Keep up the awesome work!
Kids at heart in Catholic education,
Maria
