VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Join us at The Bike Campaign to promote fun and safe bike riding with local elementary school kids.
The Bike Campaign is a local non-profit organization focused on increasing bicycle ridership through education, with a goal of reducing car use while increasing bike use, safety, and joy.
We need YOUR help to bring our important and fun Bike Skills Training program to our local schools. You don’t have to be an expert; we’ll provide instruction for anyone who is positive and enthusiastic about bicycling. A few hours of your time can help create a life-long bicycling habit for these kids and their families. A fun way to promote healthy habits for individuals and for our global environment.
The grin on a second grader’s face when they first get the hang of pedaling is priceless; an enormous reward for a few hours of your time.
Currently scheduled Bike Skills Training dates in Davis and Woodland are in April and May:
Cesar Chavez Elementary, Davis, 2nd Grade: April 14, 16, 21, 23; 8:30-9:45am
Dingle Elementary, Woodland, 6th Grade: April 22, 24, 29 & May 1; 8:15 – 10:45am
