Pacific Sky Family Update
Principal's Weekly Message 11/6 - 11/10
Dear Pacific Sky Families,
November is a month where many of us take time to reflect and express gratitude for the people and experiences that enrich our lives. This month we celebrate Veterans Day where we set aside time to honor the men and women who have served or are currently serving our Country. November also includes Parent/Teacher conferences at school, as well as Thanksgiving – both are opportunities to sit down together with people we care about to reflect on the past and plan for the future.
This Thursday, November 9th, will mark the end of the first Trimester. It’s hard to believe we are one-third of the way through the 2023-2024 school year. With the marking period coming to an end, our communication with you is vital. You should have received an invitation to sign up for a parent/teacher conference during the week of November 13th-17th. Our teachers are looking forward to seeing you soon to discuss your child’s progress.
Lastly, we are thrilled to announce that Pacific Sky School will be hosting its first-ever Readathon! The primary objective of the Readathon is to cultivate a love of reading among all our students. We have set a target goal of 200 total reading minutes for each participating student (average of 15-20 minutes per day) to be completed between November 4th-17th. Prizes will be awarded to the top students and classes who read the most. To make a Pledge today, see HERE.
With Great Pilot Pride,
Chelsea Moore, Principal
