Zoom time is here!

I will be hosting 2 optional Zoom Classroom Meet-ups! For those that are not already using Zoom, Zoom is a video conferencing service that will allow us to meet with our classes and for them to see and interact with each other!

RPE has been working to ensure that Zoom will be used appropriately and intentionally by students and teachers.

Please see the information below where you will find exact times and an activity for the students to come prepared to share.

Wednesday Optional Zoom Meet-up: 9:30 - 10:00

Activity: Bring a piece of artwork of something you have made to share.

**Link to Zoom call will be emailed to parents prior to meeting time

Thursday Optional Zoom Meet-up: 11:30 - 12:00

Activity: Bring a stuffed animal to share.

**Link to Zoom call will be emailed to parents prior to meeting time

Pick the one that works best for your family. See Teacher Communication below, if your child will be unable to join a Zoom Meet-up.

Be on the lookout for more information on our class’ Zoom meeting later this week. This will be another great opportunity to connect with our students!

Teacher Communication

If your child will be unable to join one of our Zoom Classroom Meet-ups, please let me know, and I will add their name to my call list for the week.

Student Learning Board

First Grade Learning Board

The First Grade Learning Board includes low-tech and high-tech learning experiences intended to help your child review concepts and skills that s/he has learned in first grade.

These activities should last your child until April 3rd.

The district currently recommends that your child spends six hours a week on their learning.

You can also access the First Grade Learning Board on the RPE First Grade website under the “Distance Learning” tab.

Please see Logging into LaunchPad for information on how to log in and how to download Istation and Dreambox, if you have not already.

Your child can use the QR code on their QuickCard to log-in to LaunchPad without having to type their username/password. If you need a QuickCard for your child, please let me know, and I will send you a new one (printer required).
